Ceiling fans are one of the most underrated furniture pieces/appliances in one’s home. Aside from cooling your space, choosing an aesthetic fan can also add a decorative touch that ties the room together.
We’re going to talk to you about ceiling fans. We’ll try to answer your questions such as what type of ceiling fans do you need, which size best fits your space, and what fan style is perfect for you.
Location: Indoor or Outdoor
There are two types of fans, according to where you intend to place them. That’s right, there are plenty of options for indoor fans and outdoor ceiling fans. Indoor fans are great because they help to cool your house during the warm seasons. They also help distribute heat throughout your home during the winter months.
Ceiling Height is an Important Factor
Ceiling height is an important piece to understand when starting your search for ceiling fans. Once you have determined your ceiling height, then it narrows down your choices of which ceiling fans to go with. Some ceiling fans come with an extended down rod; these are perfect for ceiling heights that are higher than 10 ft. There are also the standard ones, which is great if you have a ceiling height of about 9 ft. However, if the room you’re planning to install the fan to is not blessed with an ample ceiling height, don’t worry.
